Brief Overview
ICONFoundation organized a special awareness lecture titled “When Will My Child GetBetter?” at ICON on 12 January 2026. The program aimed to provide properguidance to parents whose children are facing developmental, behavioral, orneuro-developmental challenges. During the session, detailed discussions wereheld on the actual process of child development, the role of therapy,consistency in intervention, and the importance of parental involvement. Thelecture reassured parents that every child progresses at a different pace andthat consistent efforts combined with patience lead to positive outcomes.

Details of the Event:
The programbegan with a warm welcome to all the parents by Miss Kavita Kanwar ICON FloorCoordinator. The speaker then addressed common questions and misconceptionsrelated to child development. Parents were explained that “recovery” does nothappen within a fixed timeframe, but is a gradual process involving continuoustherapy, home-based practice, and a supportive environment. Practical exampleswere shared during the session, followed by an interactive question-and-answersegment to address parents’ concerns.
Outcome:
Parentsgained better clarity and confidence regarding their children’s developmentalprocess and treatment.
Parentsdeveloped an understanding of the importance of patience, consistent effort,and expert guidance.
